Each day in the news we see how Art related programs are disappearing from our schools due to so called budget cuts, and how children in our communities are being denied the opportunity to be involved and exposed to the art world. So rather than just sit by and watch this happen, we at RP&G Productions decided to get involved and do something about it. Each year we host Art In The Square art festival in Delray Beach Florida, and use the proceeds of this highly attended and popular event to provide financial support to local youth art programs and the Make A Wish Foundation of Southern Florida.
Art In The Square, again returns to Delray Beach in October 2012, and will once again transform the grounds of Old School Square Cultural Arts Center into an outdoor art gallery, featuring some of the best contemporary artists from around the country, which come together each year to assure that Art remains in the lives of Children. This juried art show, although small in comparison to other signature art shows in South Florida, since its’ debut, and primarily due to the quality of art it has attracted, has positioned itself amongst the list of premier art shows for artists to participate in and visitors to attend.
We believe that bringing together quality art and the local community to benefit youth art programs and the Make-A-Wish Foundation are two of the primary factors contributing to the continued success of this event and will be the driving force that continues to make this art show a staple in the Delray Beach community for years to come.
